This magnificent luxury home is situated in Milan, one of the most influential fashion and design capitals in the world. Drawing inspiration from mid-century aesthetics, the house exudes a vibrant and irresistible charm through its mix of patterns, colors, shapes, and textures, breathing new life into its design. The vision behind this project is to create objects that evoke “eras and emotions” in the most beautiful way possible.

With a late ’70s and ’80s vibe—an era that fostered dynamic, innovative thinking—this home unleashes creativity, hedonism, and rebellion. The two-story marvel boasts two bedrooms and mesmerizing functional areas, along with an extraordinary outdoor space. A dreamy blend of neutral tones and modernity, this home epitomizes sophistication and style.

The Entrance

The moment you step into this incredible home, you are transported into a world of richness and luxury. The sophisticated design combines various patterns and materials on the walls and floors, creating a striking ambiance. At the center of this space is our stunning Marcus Suspension Lamp, a clean-cut piece with a timeless aesthetic that complements a contemporary style while ensuring a well-lit atmosphere. Adjacent to the entrance door, the handcrafted Magma Mirror makes a statement with its circular shape and delicate lines, adding a subtle yet powerful touch.

The Living Room

A comfortable and inviting sanctuary, the living room offers breathtaking views of the outdoor space. This area’s rustic style is inspired by nature, incorporating features like a stone wall, intimate lighting, and earthy-toned furniture pieces. Perfect for socializing, the vision for Draga & Aurel’s design was “to share a mutual passion for vintage, a reverence for mid-century design, and a love for cinema with a touch of glamour.”

This vision comes to life with the inclusion of pieces from the Mirage Family. The Mirage Floor and Wall Lamps, with their mysterious yet minimalist designs, reflect the luxurious essence of mid-century modern style. Their silhouettes, crafted from black lacquered metals and shining brass, evoke the extravagant fashion of the ’70s.

Essential Home’s exquisite furniture further elevates this space, including the Xenon Modular Sofa and Armchair, which provide unparalleled comfort. The sofa’s softness and rounded low-lounge design make it ideal for group settings, while the armchair ensures individual relaxation—offering the sensation of sitting on a cloud.

The Office

Located on the first floor, this splendid office offers extraordinary views of the outdoor area, making it a peaceful and inspiring workspace. The classic and sophisticated mid-century modern design is exemplified by the Virginia Armchair and Antin Sideboard.

The Virginia Armchair, with its solid yet laid-back structure, adds sophistication and empowers the room, while the Antin Sideboard combines luxury and practicality in one striking piece. Together, they create an office space that seamlessly blends elegance with functionality.

The Dining Area

With its open-concept design, the dining room and kitchen are distinct yet harmoniously connected. Darker tones add sophistication and coziness, while wooden furniture pieces from Essential Home embody timeless elegance.
