Patricia Urquiola’s visionary Pacific sofa, initially designed in 2021, has now undergone a remarkable evolution, embracing a modular system that revolutionizes spatial possibilities. This new addition empowers users to customize their living environments, whether in homes or public spaces, by arranging the single central module in various configurations, from one to four times.

With the introduction of each module, the aperture of the angle widens, allowing for a seamless transition. However, it is with two modules that a radical change of perspective occurs. The concept of a welcoming sofa gradually expands, reaching its maximum expression in the configuration with four central modules. This flexibility unlocks boundless possibilities for creating inviting seating arrangements in public lounge areas or luxury boutiques.

The Pacific modular sofa system embodies the perfect solution for those seeking transformative design experiences. It seamlessly adapts to different spatial layouts, harmoniously blending aesthetics and functionality. With its versatile brilliance, this modular masterpiece redefines the concept of comfort and style, empowering individuals to shape their spaces to reflect their unique vision.

In the pursuit of sustainable design, the value of existing products is elevated, aligning them with modern living and championing the use of recycled materials. This ethos breathes new life into each piece, creating timeless designs that respond to the ongoing societal change.

Patricia Urquiola’s iconic Lowland seating series, initially conceived in 2000, has undergone a remarkable transformation, giving rise to the elegant and inspiring Mr Loveland. This upcycled version maintains the essence of the original concept while introducing fresh composition ideas. With softer and gentler seats and backrests, solid wooden bases in Honey, Tropical Wood, or Coffee replace the previous tubular steel. These design choices enhance the architectural qualities of the series, preserving its sophisticated rationalist allure, both as a standalone piece and within a composition.

For Mr Loveseat, an evolution of Urquiola’s original chair design, the stylistic approach intensifies and gains even greater power. The solidity of the sofa base, crucial for supporting and distributing the weight of the seat components, gracefully evolves into a lighter and more delicate leg structure, tapering out to create a captivating sense of lightness. This structural solution imbues Mr Loveseat with a bold and contemporary character. While it shines as a striking standalone piece, it can also be grouped with other chairs for public or community spaces.
