The Mansfield Container House is Constructed with Surprising Materials

The Mansfield Container House is a modest dwelling constructed from two abandoned shipping containers.
Robbie Walker, a Melbourne-based architect, repurposed the containers by combining them to create a modest off-grid house for family vacations and individual getaways.

The L-shape of the little house is unique.
Many architects have resorted to non-traditional materials for a more cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and flexible building process in modern architecture.
The shipping container, on the other hand, has become a popular item in the housing business.

Two 20-foto cargo counters totaling 30 square feet make up Walker’s Mansfield Container House.
The inside walls are wrapped in natural, polished plywood to lighten up the area while maintaining an industrial appearance.
